Day 10
Make things Bigger
TODAY'S CHALLENGE:
Today we are going to experiment with camera distortion.
To make an object look bigger than it actually is, all you need to do is place the lens of your camera as close as you can to it. This also works for humans. Sometimes making things look bigger than they really are can be a useful photography tool to have on your belt.
Step 1: Find a small object.
Step 2: Place that object on a counter with some texture and some decent light.
Step 3: Flip your camera upside down (SEE DEMO!).
Step 4: Get your lens as close as possible to the object without going out of focus (max 2-3 inches).
Step 5: Tap the object on your screen to make sure you are in focus. This part is important and requires a little patience.
Step 6: Have some fun and get creative. Try different angles and different objects too.
Make sure to see the demo below. It will really help with today’s challenge.

JOURNALING PROMPT(s):
Is there a moment in your life where you said yes to something, outside of your comfort zone, that felt scary? A moment where you felt big, bold or brave—even for a few seconds?
List as many of these moments as you can remember. And, if you are open to it, celebrate how far you have come.
