UJ Ramdas (Co-Author of The 5 Minute Journal)

If you know me, you know I live for deep conversations.
And UJ is one of my favorite people to dive deep with.

This was our third photo shoot together, and it was just as epic as the first two.

Yes—UJ is brilliant.
One of the most intelligent and successful people I know.
Co-writer of The Five Minute Journal, which I’m pretty sure is the most-used journal on the planet.

But beyond that?

UJ is a true seeker.
The kind of soul who’s willing to go to the deepest, most uncomfortable places just to better understand who he is, why he’s here, and what his spirit came to do.

Every time we shoot, we drop into the deep end right away.
It’s never just about photos. It’s a spiritual collaboration.

And one of my favorite things about UJ? The man is energetically open.
He’s done the work. He’s studied. He’s mastered a lot.
But he never acts like he has it all figured out.

That combo of deep intelligence and humility?
Rare. Powerful. Inspiring.

I also had the honour of photographing his incredible wife, Justine, in a separate session. We had an absolute blast together. She’s a powerhouse in her own right.
